Warm-up mode
The device will enter the warm-up mode automatically after it powered on. The warm-up time is 180 secs. Do not perform any other operations on the device during the warm-up time. The red ALARM indicator light flashes during the warm-up process, the green POWER indicator light is on, and there is a “beep” sound when the warm-up mode completed.
Detection mode
After the warm-up mode completed, the alarm enters the detection mode (normal mode):
The green POWER indicator is always on.
At this point, the alarm can be tested: press the TEST key to test the product. During the test mode, the alarm will sound “Di Di Di...”, the red ALARM indicator flashes, and the green POWER light is always on.
Alarm mode
When flammable gas leak is detected and the gas concentration reaches or exceeds the alarm threshold of 3%LEL (less than 3% LEL it will not alarm), the alarm will sound "Di Di Di..." and the red ALARM indicator flashes and the green POWER indicator light is on. The alarm will be stopped until the flammable gas concentration drops below the threshold.
Failure mode
If the alarm fails, it can not be used normally. At this moment, the POWER indicator lights up yellow and the alarm sounds a fault alarm. The ALARM indicator does not light.
