“中国制造”必须向“中国创造”转变,这是社会的共识。那么,如何转变、怎么转变,其关键就是全社会广泛的自主创新。我们知道,创新的产品需要经过三个阶段:设计、分析和制造。中国经过改革开放后30年的发展,制造业得到了极大的发展,因此一般的制造问题基本得到了解决。设计领域在近10年来也取得了长足进步,这主要是得益于广泛普及和应用的三维设计软件,包括CATIA、UG、Pro/E等。创新的产品设计是自主创新的步,但仅仅设计还不够,还需要分析和优化才能获得满足要求的设计。因此,在创新设计的基础上,加入全面的设计分析和优化,是产品创新的必要和关键环节。传统的设计分析和优化大多是基于理论建模和经验分析,其主要弊端是烦琐、速度慢、且不全面,阻碍了产品创新的快速实现。随着计算机的快速发展,计算机辅助工程(Computer-Aided Engineering,CAE)提供了各种快速的分析方法,可以在三维建模的基础上,利用有限元分析技术进行全面的分析,并根据分析结果对设计进行优化,从而获得满意的设计结果。这不仅提高了设计的质量,降低成本,还大大缩短了产品设计的周期。
