  杨倬,1935年出生于江苏苏州市.1954年毕业于苏州市第三中学并入学天津大学建筑系(五年制),1959年毕业并被分配至天津建筑工程学院(现河北工业大学前身之一)从事教学工作,任教授、国家一级注册建筑师,曾任建筑学教研室主任、建筑系主任、建筑设计室主任、建筑设计研究院总建筑师等职。
  
  张善荣,1936年出生于重庆市,1954年毕业于重庆市中学,同年考入天津大学建筑系(五年制).1959年毕业,同年被分配至天津建筑工程学院(现河北工业大学前身之一)从事教学及建筑设计工作直至退休,曾长期工作于建筑学专业教学线,并参与河北工业大学建筑设计室、建筑设计研究所工作,任副教授国家一级注册建筑师。
