邓云乡教授,学名邓云骧(924.8.28----999.2.9)山西省灵丘东河南镇人。青少年时期,先后在北京西城中学、师范大学和私立中国大学求学。947年毕业于北京大学中文系。先后任教山西大同中学,天津中学。新中国成立后,在北京中央燃料工业部工作。953年0月起,先后在苏州电校与南京电校教书。956年月在上海电力学院教书,至993年退休。邓云乡教授自幼受中国传统文化熏陶,具有深厚文史功底。学识渊博,兴趣广泛,善于思考,勤于撰述。退休后,以其亲身经历的事件或与他有涉的人,或事缘为诱因,或描绘与时代生活息息相关的经济、文化、民风民俗之变化,或明清以来文人文事钩沉,探究众说纷纭的历史文化现象,潜心著书。著有 《燕山乡土记》、《北京的风土》、《红楼风俗谭》、《北京四合院》、《清代八股文》。还有散文集 《书情旧梦》、《秋水湖山》、《花鸟虫鱼》、《吾家祖屋》。
