研究开发资源环境友好型绿色材料已成为国际先进技术领域的共识,而生物质复合材料以其力学高性能和多功能等特点已在航空、轨道交通、汽车、建筑以及土木等领域内引起广泛关注。我国政府一贯支持环境、资源友好型以及经济社会可持续发展型国家的建设。在国家科技部的支持下,国家973计划项目“先进复合材料空天应用技术基础科学问题研究(2010CB631100)”中首次列入了生物质绿色材料的研究课题“生物质高性能复合材料的基础技术研究(2010CB631105)”,在5年(2009—2014年)的研究过程中,逐步形成了一批具有良好应用前景的技术基础研究成果,并广泛参与了与美国波音(Boeing)等公司的国际合作,得到国内外绿色材料技术领域的广泛关注和赞誉。
当前,美国、日本以及欧洲各国都在积极开展生物质复合材料在航空、轨道交通、车辆工具、汽车、土木工程等领域的相关研究工作,有些已经实现了有效的应用。我国生物质资源丰富,航空、轨道交通、新能源汽车等又是国家发展的重中之重,属战略新兴产业。因此,依托本书作者在国内外本领域的研究地位和所取得的重要研究成果,出版生物质复合材料的专著,对于提升我国战略新兴产业的国际竞争力、推动科技创新具有重大意义。
