作者简介

王章俊，全国生物进化学学科首席科学传播专家，自然资源首席科学传播专家，南京大学兼职教授，中国科普作家协会会员，中国地质学会古脊椎动物演化科学传播团队团长、首席专家，地质出版社、中国大地出版社原总编辑。

2015年，作为总策划、总编剧、总导演，拍摄完成了我国用故事讲科学的 4D 特效电影《会飞的恐龙》，获 10 项大奖。编撰出版的《化石与生命——生命的进化》荣获科技部评选的2015 年全国优秀科普作品，并被国土资源部推荐参评 2018 年国家科技进步奖。2017 年编著出版了《生命进化简史》，主编出版 《热河生物群》《关岭、罗平生物群》以及《生命简史》（绘本）等。

克隆技术与恐龙复活

有了克隆技术，科学家的愿望是复活已经灭绝的生物，如恐龙。就目前的科学技术而言，要复活恐龙是不可能的，但复活猛犸象或剑齿虎倒是有可能的。
根据测量，DNA的半衰期只有521年，在理想状态下，DNA的寿命也只有 680 万年。实际上，可以解读的 DNA 存在时间可能约 150 万年，所以，复活一头猛犸象，理论上是可行的，技术上是可以实现的。
要复活一个已经灭绝的生物，必须具备两个必要条件，缺一不可。一是必须能够获得已灭绝生物的活的体细胞，从体细胞中提取细胞核或经过基因编辑获得完整的 DNA 信息；二是必须能够找到与要复活生物亲缘关系相近的代孕“妈妈”。


个条件已经得到满足。2013 年 5 月份，一支由俄罗斯科研人员组成的探险团队在新西伯利亚群岛的永久冻土中发现了一具约一万年前的、保存较完好、存有液态血液的猛犸象尸体。科学家称，有可能从这具猛犸象尸体中提取活的体细胞核，或者根据猛犸象的基因组序列，利用的基因编辑技术，对猛犸象细胞核中的碱基对排序进行重新编辑，恢复猛犸象的碱基对排序，从而形成一个完善的猛犸象细胞核。至于第二个条件，其实也可以解决。猛犸象和亚洲象是在 480 万年前，由同一祖先分支进化而来的，二者具有较近的亲缘关系。据研究，猛犸象生活于 480 万年到 4000 年前的寒冷地带。后一批西伯利亚猛犸象大约于 4000 年前灭绝。科学家可以利用猛犸象的近亲亚洲象做代孕“妈妈”。
以上两个条件只是复活史前灭绝动物的两个基本的必要条件。即使具备了这两个条件，要复活一头猛犸象，还要克服重重难关。


首先是把完好的或经过基因编辑好的猛犸象细胞核，植入已经剔除细胞核的亚洲象卵子内，这就需要使亚洲象卵子与猛犸象细胞核发生融合，融合为一体的新细胞，再经过体外培养，发育成早期胚胎；如果闯过这一关，然后将这个早期胚胎移入亚洲象的子宫里，让它在子宫里发育成胎儿，这个过程又需要克服排异反应。
只有这一系列的过程都顺利通过，代孕的亚洲象才可以产下一个猛犸象宝宝。
