本期专题——绿色基础设施与可持续设计,便是对此类问题的回应与探讨。“绿色基础设施”包含森林及生态保护区,野生动植物群落保护区与廊道、城市公园、绿道、街道、人工湿地、屋顶花园与立体绿化等。“可持续设计”指通过景观规划和设计实现的综合雨水管理、自然与人工环境的建设、修复及小气候改善等多种类型与尺度的工作。

中国作为可持续发展的后发者,虽可借鉴其他国家和地区的经验,但他人的经验并非自身能力,须亲自操作试错,方可取得好的成果。同时,城市与自然持续演变,任何方法与标准都不能一劳永逸。唯有以求真求实的态度不断探究真相与规律,持续地完成大量繁琐甚至枯燥、无人喝彩的工作,才能让理想成为现实。

事实证明,人们对环境问题的反省与自觉并非源于技术进步,而是其所引发的负作用:生态退化、河道淤积、空气污染……工业化之初的社会大都乐于享受突然爆发的生产力,甚至相信人力无所不能,直至环境无法承受。认知盲区与自我膨胀是人性的一部分,鉴于此,有必要对今天所想所为保持警觉,至少不必过于乐观。人们今天试图去修正的通常是过去行为的结果,其中一定会有误解、忽略或过于理想化的部分,需要在未来纠错。

所幸,随着行业成熟与人才成长,越来越多的人才会投入基础性工作并秉持着脚踏实地的精神。本期论文与案例所呈现的思考与努力便是一个证明。我们不妨将今天的成果看作未来的起点:路途远,但可期;积跬步,成千里。”
