一、单体园林植物表现
  写到这个命题首先跳入我脑海的关键词是响亮的三个字——“个性美”。人们总要感叹大千世界的多彩缤纷,而丰富的自然景物的形体形态,特别是灿若繁星的植物形象宝库,具有着最鲜明修改美特色以及群体美、意境美的丰富素材,还有深刻的寓意精神,毫无疑问,这是上苍对于园林设计师的最大青睐,是赠给他们的丰厚的礼物。
  直面大自然、对于花草树木观察研究,进行多元的深度鉴赏,是国人自古以 来所固有优良文化艺术传统。这传统源远流长,而目的和方法地不尽相同:有的诉诸于文笔扬扬洒洒,一咏三叹,有的寄情于丹青,维肖维妙,尽善尽美。如晋人稽含在其《南方草木状》里写道:榕树,南海桂林多植之,叶如木麻,实如冬青。树于拳曲,是不可以为器也。其本棱理而深,是不可以为材也。烧之无焰,是不可以为薪也——枝条既繁,叶又茂细。软条如藤,垂下渐渐及地,藤稍入土,便生根节。或根四五处,而橫枝及邻树既连理。而著名的《芥子元画谱》里所表现的植物的“大观世界”,以及精细入微的精准描绘,让人惊奇和叹服。由此可以想见,在人们以自然为生存条件的时候,当我们祖先不再单纯的适应自然,而在改变生活环境的过程中,其精神状态也得到了解放,已经开始在宏大壮丽的自然领域里发现美和研究美,并在感性认识和理性认识交替深化的运动中,不断地把这些美推向精致、高深和博大。
