到访过三十几个国家和地区,被朋友问得多的问题就是:“去过的地方中,你喜欢哪个地方呢?”我一贯的回答是:没有喜欢,也没有讨厌。更精确一点的答案,其实是我通常只记得旅途中印象深刻的片段,而且大都是旅途中的“人”与“住宿”所带给我的,喜不喜欢这个地方倒无所谓了。为自己与旅伴规划旅途时,开心的事就是找到一个很棒的民宿或旅馆。一天睡眠要七八个小时,再加上进出与休息,几乎占了一天中大部分的时间,所以住宿规划也就非常重要。某天,我掐指一算,从小到现在住过的旅馆、民宿、青旅、airbnb(爱彼迎)等,通通加起来应该超过了四五百间。人生中有许多充满回忆的场景,也发生在其中,例如与好友的久别重逢。

很久以前我就因预算因素舍弃连锁饭店、商务旅馆,一头钻进巷弄,寻访一砖一瓦由自己砌起来,不需大山大水的陪衬就自成一格的民宿。没有大饭店入住时的繁复流程,民宿主人可能还在庭院中打扫狗屋,看到你到来,临时用围裙擦擦双手就冲过来,热情用力地一握,让远道而来的我感到非常暖心,因为那汗水是有温度的。
