林海音,原名林含英,祖籍省苗栗,98年3月8日生于日本大坂,5岁时随父母回国,定居在北京,北京世界新闻专科学校毕业后,曾在《世界日报》记者。948年底返台,先后任《国语日报》编辑,《联合报》副刊主编,编译馆国语科编审,967年创为和主编《纯文学》月刊,972年开办纯文学出版社,出版“纯文学丛书”。著有小说、散文二十余种,有浙江文艺出版社版五本《林海音文集》。
