随着社会和经济的蓬勃发展,大规模的现代化建设已使我国建材行业成为全世界资源、能源用量的行业之一,因此人们越来越关注建材行业本身资源、能源的可持续发展和环境保护问题。而工业化的迅速发展又产生了大量的工业固体废弃物,建筑垃圾和工业固体废弃物虽然在现代社会的经济建设发展中必然产生,但是大部分仍然具有资源化利用价值。科学合理地利用其中的可再生资源,可以实现建筑废物的资源化、减量化和无害化,也可以减少对自然资源的过度消耗,同时还保护了生态环境,美化了城市,更能够促进当地经济和社会的良性发展,具有较大的经济价值和社会效益,是我国发展低碳社会和循环经济的不二之选。
我国早期建筑垃圾处理方式主要是堆放与填埋,实际资源化利用率较低。现阶段建筑垃圾资源化利用,比较成熟的手段是将其破碎筛分后生成再生粗细骨料加以利用,制备建筑垃圾再生制品,而工业固体废弃物由于内部具有大量的硅铝质成分,经碱激发之后可以作为绿色胶凝材料辅助水泥使用,用以制备再生制品。
