《工程建设监理》一书是根据我国高等教育土木工程专业、工程管理专业及建设工程监理实践的需要编写的,编写过程中吸收了《工程建设监理》、《建设监理考试教材》、《建设监理培训教材》、《建设工程施工合同(示范文本)》、《FIDIC合同条件》及《建设监理手册》等一系列教材、读本、手册的优点,并广泛听取了建设主管部门、建设单位、工程咨询单位、监理单位、设计单位、施工单位等方面的领导及工程技术、管理人员的意见和建议,在教学改革和创新思维的指导下,经过长时间的探索与实践,由多人共同编写。
  本书的主要特点是:
  1.在阐述基本理论与概念的基础上注重建设监理理论体系的完整性。以我国建设项目管理知识体系(C-PMBOM)与国际咨询工程师联合会(FIDIC)合同条件为理论基础,构架监理理论知识体系,在内容的选定上既注重建设监理理论的系统性,又力求知识点的合理衔接,避免重复、遗漏与矛盾。
