    随着经济的快速发展,我国城市建设突飞猛进,道路里程数有了很大增长,桥梁更是随处可见,然而随着汽车工业的发展,交通运输量大幅度增长,车辆载重也越来越大,同时随着城市桥梁使用年限的增加,桥梁结构的一些病害逐渐显现并呈现出日益加重的趋势。现有的数以万计的桥梁,特别是20世纪80年代以前修建的桥梁,由于设计荷载标准低,承载能力不够,远远不能满足现在的安全需求,加之年久失修、养护不够,相当多的桥梁发生不同程度的破损,正逐步成为危桥,影响车辆的正常通行。为防止事故的发生,避免国民经济和人民生命财产出现重大损失,对桥梁结构进行养护和加固显得更加重要。相关部门应及时发现桥梁出现的病害和缺陷,并进行维修和加固补强,防患于未然,同时加快旧危桥整治和加固,确保交通畅通和安全。
