作者简介

王哲，笔名京虎子。毕业于北京医科大学基础医学系和中国预防医学科学院病毒学研究所，美国约翰逊·霍普金斯大学公共卫生学院博士后。现从事电脑业，业余时间进行写作，出版书籍20余部，其中《国士无双伍连德》获得第二届中华优秀出版物图书奖。

2011 年，一 群科 学 家 来 到 伦敦 ， 公 然把 一 座 埋葬着 死于 1348 年到

1351 年 之 间的 死 者的 墓 地 挖开 ， 把死 者 那些 未 腐烂 的 牙 齿拿 走 ， 回 到 实 验室 里用 现代 分子 生 物学 技术 对 牙齿 里 残留 的 细菌 进 行脱 氧 核糖核 酸（DNA）序列 分 析 ， 然 后 和 基因库 里 已知 的 同 一 细菌菌 株 的 DNA 序 列 进行 比 较 。 研 究 结 果表 明 ， 从 墓 地里死 者 牙齿 中 获得 的 660 年 前 的 菌 株 的 DNA 和 所 有 已知 菌 株 的 DNA 都 不一 样 ， 由此 证明 这 个 660 年 前 的 古老 菌 株已 经 灭绝 了。
这一 株 细菌 是 鼠疫 杆 菌 的一 种 。 杆 菌 是 其 形 状为 杆 状 或 者类 似杆 状 的 细菌 ， 呈 球 形或 者类 似 球 形 的 细菌 叫球 菌 ， 呈弧 形或 者 逗点 状的 细 菌 叫 弧 菌 。这 种 根据 细菌 形 状 做 的 分 类 并 没 有 太 大 的 意义 ， 关 键 是 细 菌 二字 前 面 的 那个 词 ，代 表 这类 细菌 会 造 成 什么 后 果 ， 结 核杆 菌 是 引 起 结 核 病的 细菌 ， 肺炎 球 菌 会 引起 肺炎 ， 霍乱弧 菌 则 导 致霍乱 ， 顾 名 思义 ，鼠疫 杆 菌 是 造 成 鼠疫的 细菌 。
