情景再现:
郭某,女,50 岁,反复发热半个月,自服布洛芬,效果欠佳。于是去医院
就诊,经西医治疗未愈,做检查也未查出明显原因。后去某中医诊所诊治,服
中药后病情 加严重,于是来找我诊治。我观其所服药方,方子里有金银花、薄
荷、连翘等药。四诊得知,其劳累时发热,体温在38.3℃左右,稍活动便汗出,
乏力,气短懒言,不欲饮食,寐安,二便可,舌淡红苔白,脉细无力。四诊辨证
本病属于气虚发热,采用益气健脾,甘温除热治疗用药。患者服药2 天后,打电
话给我,激动地说:“高大夫,我在医院输抗生素都8 天了,总是反复,才喝了
您两付药,我体温就降到36.5℃,第二天也没再烧起来,您真是厉害。”
为什么这个发热患者经西医治疗效果差,中医治疗的效果也是有好有坏呢?
一、过用寒凉药物的危害
面对发热,很多医生的治疗方法就是见热退热,用大量寒凉的药物,如上面
的病例。患者在医院中输的抗生素和在其他诊所服用的中药,在我看来都是寒凉
的药物,具有清热解毒的作用,主要适用于实热证。而上述患者属于气虚发热,
应益气健脾、甘温除热,此时用寒凉的药物退热是不正确的,因此疗效差。
